Personal Data Personally, identifiable information, such as your name, email address and company, that you voluntarily give to us permission to contact you via electronic channels with e.g., invitations to exhibitions and events, newsletters, and promotional offers. You are under no obligation to provide us with personal information of any kind, however your refusal to do so may prevent you from taking part in e.g., special offers, exhibitions, and events.
USE OF YOUR INFORMATION

Electronic promotional messages:
- Emails may be sent using Vestergaard Company’s own mail server and mail addresses.
- We also in some cases use third-party services such as (but not excluded to) MailChimp and Conference Manager, who provide us with email marketing services. We consider MailChimp and Conference Manager to be a third-party data processor. We only use third party data processors who can guarantee living up to our own general privacy policy.
- Your email address will remain within MailChimp’s database for as long as we continue to use MailChimp’s services for email marketing or until you specifically request removal. All data in Conference Manager are deleted automatically no later than two years after the end of any given event.
- If you are under 16 years of age you MUST obtain parental consent before giving permission to receive electronical marketing messages.
- We store your permission in our internal CRM and while your permission remains within our customer database, you will receive periodic (approximately three to four times a year) emails from us.
STORING OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA
Vestergaard Company only stores your personal data as long as this is deemed necessary to fulfill the purposes for which your personal data has been collected.
VESTERGAARD COMPANY’S DISCLOSURE OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA
Your personal data is disclosed to entities and companies within Vestergaard Company, including subsidiaries and affiliates. Your personal data shall not without your consent be subject to any other external disclosure unless authorized by law. Vestergaard Company does not use or disclose your personal data for marketing purposes, including for sending e-mails with advertising content, unless you have requested and accepted this.
Vestergaard Company may disclose your personal data to public authorities or others to the extent that this is in accordance with applicable law.
We reserve the right to make changes to this Privacy Policy at any time and for any reason. We will alert you about any changes by updating the “Last Updated” date of this Privacy Policy. Any changes or modifications will be effective immediately upon posting the updated Privacy Policy on the Site, and you waive the right to receive specific notice of each such change or modification.
